Professional childminding by qualified teacher

Ofsted say my setting is "Good"

I had my first Ofted Inspection October 2009, and I received the Grade of GOOD in all areas.  Here is a little of what the inspector said about my provision, contact me for a full copy.

"The childminder has a good understanding of how children learn and makes good use of daily routines, activities, free play and incidental opportunities to extend children's learning."

Insert body text here ...

"The uniqueness of each child is recognised and each child

is supported so that no individual is disadvantaged."

"Children play in a clean environment where they learn to follow good hygiene practices"

"Children enjoy healthy and nutritious food and have easy access to fresh water and refreshments."

"A stimulating learning environment where well planned activities make good use of suitably deployed resources to support children's learning."

"Children achieve and enjoy their learning."

"A good balance of adult-led and child-initiated activities and daily routines support outcomes for children as they progress towards the early learning goals. For example, regular outings to parks, libraries, toddlers groups and soft play resources support children in the six area of learning."

"Comprehensive and detailed risk assessments indoors and outdoors safeguard

children, support each child and help them feel safe, settled and secure."

The only recommendation that was made for improvement was to have my car documents available for viewing on request. They are now in the folder for all to see.
